Chinese Travelers can also choose to travel by public bus from Lhasa to Damxung and then hire a taxi or join a shared minivan to reach Namtso Lake. However, foreign travelers have to have legit travel permits for visiting the Namtso Lake, therefore, you will have to have a Tour guide and tourism transportation for visiting the Namtso Lake.
